At First Baptist El Dorado we know every child is very special and unique in their personality, gifts and needs. The greatest need of the next generation is to know and cherish the infinite value of God. With this in mind, we want our children to become so saturated with the Word of God that they treasure Jesus alone as the One who saves and satisfies the heart.

Our preteen ministry is a upbeat, high-energy group where students grow in their understanding of the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus, while preparing them for student ministry.

CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
For families with younger children, we now offer “Busy Bags” as an option during Sunday morning worship. All children are encouraged to be in the service together with their parents in the sanctuary. Busy Bags are available in the church library and provide quiet, age-appropriate activities to help little ones stay engaged during the service.
We believe children are an important and valued part of the church body and that they grow in meaningful ways by participating in worship alongside their families. Being present in the service allows them to observe, learn, and experience worship firsthand in a formative way.
For families who prefer childcare is also offered for Kindergarten and below in our Preschool wing during the worship service.
