Remember Your Foundation | 2 Timothy 2:8-13

Paul is sitting in a prison cell, chained like a criminal, and he still sounds unshakable. That’s the tension we lean into as we walk through 2 Timothy 2:8–13 and hear the command that keeps everything centered: “Remember Jesus Christ.” Not a vague spiritual reminder, but a clear fixation on the risen Savior and promised King, the offspring of David who fulfills God’s plan and defeats death itself.

The passage ends with a trustworthy saying that comforts us with a sure promise and sobers us with a real warning, all rooted in God’s steady faithfulness.
