As a church family, we will gather in order to experience the story of Jesus’ final days on earth. We will sing, pray, and reflect on the trial, sentencing, execution, death, and burial of Jesus. After each segment of the story is read, a candle is extinguished reminding us of the disillusionment the disciples felt Friday. This time of worship and reflection serves prepare our hearts for the good news of Resurrection Sunday.
